BRID EX 2009

Brunei Darussalam has successfully organised the BRIDEX 2009, the military exhibition and shows. Actually I'm not a fan of the military, but since I'm more interested in advance technological equipement and strategy combat skill, so I went there with my martial arts friends to witness these event.
I was totally excited when I got the ticket which cost me B$5.00 till the day arrived. We parked our cars beside the lost 'mau pusing lagi' roller coaster and waited for the pick-up bus to arrive with hundreds of people. When the buses arrived, I was so surprised to see everyone is trying their best to get a place inside by pushing and squeezing, ignoring the small children who are trapped in between.
Those unlucky one like me have to wait for other bus, but unfortunately after an hour, no bus is yet to be seen. From the sky, I could hear the loud sound of a small jet fighter flying. You can guess how far I'm now from BRIDEX venue. So I walked with disappointment and feeling burnt under a hot sun to another pick-up point near to the entrance to the water fountain.
Finally, got a bus there to the venue. On arrival, I have to go inside a building where I guess that where all the people went for scanning body temperature (to prevent the spreading of H1N1 virus) and metal detection scan. Then, a nice lady teared my ticket and I was expecting a souvenir to be given as what I had been mentioned during the buying of ticket. But nothing. I felt so tired and tense to asked since there there is so many people around in the building. I really can't stand it.
So I followed the direction to the exhibit halls and stopped a while to see the building which is so amazing. The glass spherical shaped dome....love it. Wish I could see the internal structure. I received a call from my colleague that there will be a combat show soon, so immediately I went headed straight to the beach to watch it. 'Wow!' With so much explosion, action of rescuing someone from terrorists and helicopters flying around and their revolving blade blew the sand dust all around. Forgotten of what I had went through, it was an amazing lively show.
After those show, I went to the exhibition halls and rushing through every booth due to limited time. I had shot some pictures that caught my eyes' attention. Here where me and my temporary 'lost' friends due to the bus incident, finally met. We spent our time browsing till half past 5. We took pictures outside the building and watched the people queing for the bus from the location of the banner saying, "See you in BRIDEX 2011".
At around 6.30pm we got into the bus with no rushing, no pushing and no squeezing as before.

Anyway, Congratulation to the organiser, Ministry of Defense and the Royal Brunei Military Forces.
